Multiplication Table in Rhyme, Part 1 - "being the first half of the table consisting of 96 cards forming 48 illustrations" In Original Wooden Box with a picture of two cards on the front.
This game consists of 96 cards (48 pairs) - Each has a multiplication and a rhyming couplet underneath - ie there is also a hand colored picture describing the rhyme. Its aim is to teach multiplication tables in a different way. Players must collect both halves and the completed picture that should prompt the memory of the particular sum.
One of example here illustrates "6 times 5 are 30", "the coach is very dirty".
Part One covers the multiplication tables from 2x1 through 2x12 - up to 6x5 through 6x12 (however in order to make each Part I (2-6) and II (7-12) equal, the numbers were slightly manipulated ie there is 5x4 and 6x5 (as well as 4x5 and 5x6)
Multiplication - Condition - / Cards very good - light use only, but missing one card / Box - lid is a little scratched, base is missing one short side / Rules lacking (we have never seen any).
