This set of cards have an engraved picture at the top and are stencil colored.
Animals are 1-4 predators / 5-16 their prey.
The numbers are hand-written on the cards
The predators are interesting - The Lion is the Animal of Africa - "insensible of fear"
/ The Leopard is resident in India, Africa, China and Arbia
/ The Panthar is Afrcain from remote Barbary to Guinea
/ The Ounce - from the East
The prey are defined by speed - Oran-outgan is described as attcking elephants with clubs - "the only animal that uses weapons"

Condition / Cards are good - no tears - a little grubby (the first 4 grubbier than the rest) No rules / notes or box. They are in a similar style to John Wallis Exhibition of Beasts c1800 and - Box of Animals, and a pack of Animals and verse cards in Norwich museum (dated c1770)

Conversation Cards - Condition / The cards are approx 6 by 8.5 cms / They are in good condition – no damage, but odd dirty marks the print on some seem lighter than on others
This set has 30 cards / 15 pairs. This item is defined in Worshipful Company's Collection- as 24/24 complete (all 24 in the set in the Worshipful's Collection are in this set plus 3 additional pairs) / No Rules or Box.

A set of playing cards K Q N 10 9 8 7 1 plus, Diamond 2, Heart 3, Club 4, Spade 5.
Red suits engraved in red / Black suits in black.
The style of the cards are partly regal, partly mystic, and partly homely.
All the cards are different although some of the characters look similar. It is very difficult to know what game they were made for

Cards - Condition / Cards in very good condition but slightly concave - the set in a sense looks complete - depending on the game. We can find no reference to these cards or a game played with this range of cards. The cards are small - approx 5cm by 8cms.

This item consitis of an explaination card - Five cards with black type and Five with red type - there are 5 couplets on each card.
The explaination card stated that you note the first letter on the black card that the "person takes" that will lead you to which red card to use CROWN are the initials of the first letters of the five red cards.) From that you can somehow deduct which pharse "the person" has chosen. Again by usinfg CROWN in some way

Condition - All cards are in very good undamaged condition

Whilst these are now considered politically incorrect they were a popular children’s game in the 1950s.
The complete game would consist of 40 cards - 4 sets of 10 this is just one set of ten.

Condition - Cards - ten cards from a "ten card" to a "one card" - all pictured / very light use / odd nicks at the base, very colourful cards
